Golden Boot

In 2008-09, the London Legal League entered the Action Duchenne Golden Boot, with Steve Wallace (BPP) winning the league title with 24 goals.

In 2009-10, we're running the competition again, we hope with more clubs involved, regardless of whether Action Duchenne are running their competition.

Action Duchenne

The Action Duchenne Golden Boot is the first national goalscoring competition for amateur and recreational footballers.  The competition is free to enter for leagues and simply aims to raise awareness of the fight to find treatments and a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.  The competition has the support of an array of football legends, including former England and Manchester United captain Bryan Robson, as well as Terry Butcher, Phil Thompson, Ray Parlour and many more.

At the end of the each season, the leading goalscorer from each league will receive a Golden Boot certificate from the charity and be entered into a prize draw to win prizes for themselves and their team. An elite award will presented to the leading scorer from across the top divisions in each region and to the leading top flight goal scorer in England.  Only goals scored in league competitions will count and where there is a tie, awards will be decided on a goals per game ratio.

It's Voluntary

Participation is voluntary, but we hope as many clubs as possible will participate, logging their goalscorers on the FA Full-Time system, and if you don't log them, you won't be eligible for the Golden Boot prizes from Action Duchenne.

Accessing Full-Time

To access the London Legal League on Full-Time, click here. Club Secretaries and Assistant Secretaries can then log in (if you have forgotten your username and/or password please contact Danny McConnell), and are able to add new players to their team squads, or access the statistical report section for their games.

Adding Players

To add players to your team squad on Full-Time, go to "Admin Home" and then "People Wizard". Click on the Player link at the top left corner to display all current players, and click on Create New if required. You are only required to give forename and surname for new players, though you may give more information if you wish.

Logging Scorers

To log scores, go to Admin Home and then Results/Stats link, and then to add the statistics for each game click on your club-name link to access the stats section for the game concerned. The quickest way to enter details and goalscorers is via the "Quick Stat Entry" option.

Other Statistics

We've enabled Full-Time to allow you to enter a host of other statistics if you're so inclined to record them. Feel free to enter as many, or as few as you wish.

Golden Boot Leaders

These, along with all of the other statistical leaders, can be displayed by clicking on the "Statistic Leaders" link of the London Legal League on Full-Time.
